If you are looking for a tailored and hands-on beekeeping lesson, we provide private lessons in and around the Bay Area. A curious hive conundrum have you stuck? Unsure of how to best prepare for the changing seasons in California? Want some assistance determining how much honey can be responsibly harvested? Just need some help finding your queen? We can help.
Intrigued by honey bees? Interested in starting your own backyard hive? This training will focus on bee biology and behavior and how to get started as a beekeeper, including discussions of city and state regulations, required time and financial commitment, a demonstration of necessary equipment, and information on where you can get your own bees. .
Private Lesson Rates
Private lessons are a minimum of one hour.
- $100/hour for the first hour for 1 person
- $50/each additional hour for 1 person
- $35/each additional student per hour
